It is possible that your computer has security settings that prohibit the installation of new software on your computer. It is always a good idea to check Endnote's Compatibility and System Requirements before downloading a software. Yes, EndNote X8, X9 and EndNote 20 Cite While You Write (CWYW) both are compatible with Office 365 or MS Word 365. Go to the 'Staff Downloads' box on the bottom right of the screen (see below).
