There's a whole lot you can do on Rook Island. I traveled to the highest point on Rook Island and got absolutely nothing for my efforts You have to go to Doctor Earnhardt's mansion who found Liza ill and took her in to treat her and then you're off to find and rescue the rest of your friends.

The island is littered with outposts that you should claim whenever you travel to new areas.Īfter this is when the story goes into full swing. After hacking a tower, you're taken to a local outpost and asked to help claim it from enemy pirates for the Rakyat (an indigenous tribe). By the way, there are 18 radio towers that each reveals part of the island. Dennis escorts you to the nearest radio tower which has to be hacked to reveal more of the island map. Once you escape, you're found by Dennis who is your mentor for the rest of the game. You escape but your brother is killed and you have to save the rest of your friends. The story goes something like this: you (Jason), your two brothers, and your friends are on vacation when they are captured by a gang of pirates led by Vaas while skydiving. I went with the easiest difficulty which seems to be a good decision because I still die quite a few times. The world map reveals the location of radio towers and outposts I decided to try Far Cry 3 Classic Edition which was a huge decision because I'm an FPS noob and the only one I've ever beat is Halo 1.
